Outside In

Outside In is a free drama project for young people aged 10-15 -get outside, get creative & express yourself!

Have fun, learn new skills & make new friends - no previous drama experience necessary!

Get involved to create your own outdoor magical performance that you can share with friends & family on the last day.

It is free to take part but booking is essential as places are limited!

When:

The project will take place over five days:

 Fri 6 Aug 10am – 3.30pm

(no session on the weekend)

Mon 9 Aug 10am – 3.30pm

Tues 10 Aug 10am – 3.30pm

Wed 11 Aug 10am – 3.30pm

Thurs 12 Aug 10am – 5.30pm (performance time tbc)

 

Where:

Growing Together Rochford, 34 Rocheway, Rochford, Essex, SS4 1DQ

Participants will work with theatre professionals from Smoking Apples Theatre, who work with large scale puppets & stunning visuals to create outdoor performance!

Participants will get the chance to:

·      Try loads of new creative, arts & drama skills & be empowered to express themselves from the inside out.

·      Meet new friends - make connections through sharing feelings & ideas with others.

·      Build confidence & resilience by being challenged to try new things in a safe & inclusive space.

·      Develop tools to support their wellbeing & positive self-image through engagement in art & nature

 Please bring a packed lunch & plenty of water.  Water & snacks will be available.

Dress for the weather – layers, waterproofs, sunscreen, sun hats!
