Our home by the sea…

BLAST’s second term came to an end last week with a joyful & heartwarming celebration of home & family, combining video, poetry & movement.

BLAST’s young people have been working hard this term at our new base Twenty One at Southend seafront and we’re excited to share their original creative writing in front of an audience of family & friends.

Audience members generously donated to BLAST partners Welcome To The UK to support their work with newly arrived families to the UK.

BLAST have a very exciting summer term planned - watch this space for more news coming soon! So we are keen to welcome new members to join from 25 April.

BLAST is for young people aged 8-12 years, is free to attend & no drama experience necessary. It’s a great way to make new friends, build confidence & improve language skills.
