BLAST at Barons Court Primary: Empowering Through Drama

Over the Autumn term 2023 Elevator Arts collaborated with Barons Court Primary School & Nursery, engaging Year 4 and 5 pupils in transformative drama activities. The focus was on enhancing language skills, fostering confidence, and creating a positive impact on overall well-being.

Elevator Arts' drama sessions aligned with the National Curriculum, effectively improving spoken language skills, vocabulary, and communication abilities. Our drama facilitators worked with the children to delve deeper into the worlds of the books they were studying, Holes & War Horse, through drama & spoken word activities.

The drama activities significantly boosted students' confidence, encouraging them to share ideas and opinions confidently and respond thoughtfully, both crucial skills in school and for personal growth.

Taking part made me feel happy, confident, joyful , calm, no worries not stressing.
